Anteater Pest Control, Inc. explains here how we handle information from visitors to anteaterpest.com, people requesting service, and customers communicating with our Duluth team. This policy covers our website and related service communications. It describes our practices; reading it or using the website does not itself give permission to send you text messages.

2. Information you provide

Depending on how you contact us, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, service address or ZIP code, requested service, property details, and information about your pest concern. We also receive messages and any photographs or videos you choose to send for identification or service assistance.

Our request forms identify required fields. Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, Social Security numbers, medical records, or unrelated sensitive information in an open message field.

3. Information collected during visits

Our website and its providers collect technical and activity information, such as browser and device details, IP address, approximate location, pages visited, referral sources, dates, and interactions with links and forms. Cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies support these functions. Some information comes directly from your browser; connected services can also exchange event information through their servers.

4. How we use information

We use inquiry and customer information to answer questions, discuss service availability, prepare estimates, arrange appointments, deliver services and maintain communication and service records. We also use information to operate and troubleshoot the website, understand visitor activity, measure advertising, improve our services, address disputes and meet applicable legal obligations. Website measurement helps identify which advertisements lead to inquiries.

5. Providers and other disclosures

Wix hosts this website and supports its forms and business tools. Our team and providers supporting hosting, communications, customer records, analytics and advertising may process information for those functions. Advertising and analytics disclosures are explained below.

We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect people or defend legal rights. External customer portals, social platforms and other linked websites have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information there.

6. Analytics and advertising measurement

We use Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, Microsoft Clarity, and Reddit Pixel.

Google Analytics helps us understand visits and website activity. Google Ads measures advertising responses, including inquiry and telephone-link events. Our lead-measurement setup can provide Google with contact information supplied in an inquiry, including email and telephone number and, when available, name and address information, to help match an inquiry with advertising activity.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API support website-event measurement and advertising optimization, using browser and server connections. Microsoft Clarity helps us understand navigation through heatmaps and session replays, which reconstruct website interactions such as clicks, scrolling and page views.

Reddit Pixel measures page visits and advertising responses using browser and device information. Automatic email and telephone matching are turned off in our Reddit Pixel settings.

These are disclosures to analytics and advertising providers, not merely anonymous internal counts. Providers may connect activity with information they already hold under their own policies. Advertising-related disclosures can fall within legal definitions of “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, depending on applicable law.

7. Cookies and your choices

Select Your Privacy Choices in our website footer to view your current Wix consent settings and change the optional Functional, Analytics, Advertising and Third-party data categories. Essential website functions stay on. If the panel confirms that your choices are saved, finish any form you are working on, then refresh the page to apply the updated settings. Until you refresh, the page may continue using the previous settings. This panel manages Wix consent settings; it does not erase information already collected.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser and use privacy or advertising controls offered by Google, Meta, Microsoft and Reddit. Blocking cookies may affect website features and may not stop information exchanged through server connections.

To ask about our use of your information for advertising measurement or request a restriction, contact info@anteaterpest.com. Explain your request and the email or telephone number associated with your inquiry. Browser settings and an email request have different effects; neither should be assumed to erase information already held by another provider.

8. How long we keep information

We do not apply a fixed automatic deletion period to our inquiry, customer, communication or service records. Records can remain on file after an inquiry is resolved or service ends unless we specifically delete them or act on a deletion request. This includes images and messages sent for pest identification.

Providers may apply separate retention settings to information in their systems. You can request deletion as described below. Certain records may need to remain for legal obligations, disputes, service administration or honoring contact preferences.

9. Access, correction and data deletion

Email info@anteaterpest.com with “Privacy Request” or “Data Deletion Request” in the subject. Include your contact information, approximate interaction dates and what you want us to access, correct, restrict or delete. Avoid sending sensitive identification documents unless we request a suitable verification method.

We may need to verify your identity and clarify the request. Available rights and exceptions depend on the laws that apply. We will review the request and explain the response or any limits.
